Overview

Intocare is a mission-critical human resource and operational management platform built to streamline employee roster planning and Employee Provident Fund (EPF) statutory contribution compliance. Designed for multi-shift enterprises, the platform enables operations managers to schedule staff monthly rosters, track work hours, manage department groups, and compute legal statutory deductions with automated report seeding.

Deterministic EPF/ETF Statutory Rules Engine
Hardcoded exact Sri Lankan statutory contribution formulas (Employee 8%, Employer 12% EPF, Employer 3% ETF) to prevent rounding errors across large workforce rosters.

Interactive Calendar Roster Matrix
Built a grid matrix that allows dragging and toggling day/night shifts across hundreds of staff members with real-time coverage gap warnings.

Architecture

Next.js API Routing Engine

Full RESTful API endpoints (`/api/months/[id]/roster`, `/api/workspace`, `/api/groups`) powering CRUD operations.

Roster Matrix State Machine

Interactive monthly calendar grid for assigning employee shifts, handling leave, and flagging coverage gaps.

EPF Statutory Calculation Subsystem

Deterministic computation of employee (8%) and employer (12%) provident fund contributions.

Database Seeding & Workspace Reset

Administrative endpoints for populating demo workspaces and backing up historical rosters.

DevOps & deployment

Deployed on Vercel or as a containerized Next.js service on AWS ECS / GCP Cloud Run.
